It'd be sexier if it were made of chocolate.

So I setup the new monitor mount... works perfect, I like the new design!  My Dell Ultrasharp 1907FP had a little lip on the back and it rests perfectly.  Was this on purpose or just lucky? (not sure if all monitors would have the same kinda lip).

While I would *love* to say it was on purpose, this was purely sheer dumb luck. I haven't seen a lip like this on any of the LCD's I've disassembled, however, it easily could have gone the other way, and have required a cutout in the piece! You were really lucky.

And your work looks AMAZING! Keep it up!

I recently picked up a Titan Bartop from Gameroom Designs Canada, and I gotta say I'm really happy to get another bartop project jump-started with this kit.
This is my unboxing first impressions:

First and foremost, the package arrived unscathed and marked for care. It was delivered fairly quick after Rick informed me he shipped it, especially since I'm in Vancouver and the package had to trek across the country to arrive. :)

The packaging is tight, secure, and cleanly packed. I didn't feel it rattling around the box when moving, which is important to delivery since the wood is MDF and any sudden jolt can knock it around inside and end up chipping the panels.

One thing I really like about this kit is it comes with a parts-list (omg personalized! he wrote my name specifically for my kit! Hey this might be significant to some but a little personalizing of products feels pretty special to me) full colour pictured instruction manual for assembly, and a little bit of information for when you're finishing off your project.

There's a good 10 pages of full page steps that are pretty straightforward to understand, but if all else fails, Rick included his contact info on the first page, and his communication is excellent btw.

Here's all the packaged panels laid out, as you can see, tightly wrapped and secured.

The wood comes "unfinished" in the sense that it's only wood-cut-panels, and they're t-mold slotted, so you will just have to paint it yourself. But, for those like me will be putting full vinyl artwork on the sides and front, a small priming process could suffice to get the adhesive prints to bond well to the surface, though not completely necessary.

This kit is looking awesome, and you can tell Rick is putting a lot of love into them. For being well built Canadian-made, cheaper shipping, as well multiple cabinet style options, this is really great for those of us who might not have the time or space to build a cabinet out of wood.

I gotta say, Rick you dun gud. :)

SORRY, everyone! I guess I received a notification a couple days ago that the thread had a response, and hadn't had the opportunity to get back. As such, I have some news - personal news, mind you - but it definitely impacts my work with Gameroom Designs Canada...

I GOT A NEW JOB!!!

Yes, I will finally be returning to the Corporate world starting in March, and this means that I will be working a regular, Monday to Friday, 9-5 shift. No longer will I be working 11+ hour days, missing my family time, at odd schedules!!! This means - in addition to the fact that now, I'll get to see my Wife and kids - that I should have more time to devote to providing better updates, better feedback, more cabinets and more options.

I'm so freakin' excited over here!!! (It also comes with a SIGNIFICANT pay increase - like, a lot more than I was making a year ago in Corporate, so yeah, that's huge as well!)

:D :D :D :D :D

Congrats on the job Rick.

I'm going to be ordering one of these for sure! Probably Titan.

Do you have 2 player options? I don't see them in the photos - would the control panel be too cramped?

The 1P options are 20" across, and I'm presently working on a wider, 26" 2P option. It's the most popular request, and once I have some spare time, I will be focusing on completing these models! So - "coming soon" is as good as I can say for the moment!

One of my customers just posted his build thread over here at CGCC.ca, and his complete progress via Imgur here! I must say I'm jealous of the progress being made... One of these days, I'll get to finish up my friend's Galaga! Here's a completed pic:

With the popularity I've received from the BYOAC Forums (as well as others), it was about time I forayed into the Reddit-verse. You can find my first post here.
