Mock-up software ?

Can you paste graphics onto flat panels in google sketchup?

Or any other suggestions for doing a 3-D mockup with graphics?

Simpler the better, and free.

Sure, just create a new material based on an image, apply it with the paint bucket tool, and then align it. You can even project materials on curved surfaces, too (although that's a bit trickier).

you can also inport a jpeg and then scale accordingly. I've used sketchup and its a nice feature. You can apply maquee art, monitor screenshots and sideart. Once you apply the jpeg, group it together to lock glue it in place.

Thanks for that, I've not had cause to use sketchup before, but now I do.

If anyone has a sketchup model to get me started please let me know. My starting plan is for my cabinet to be a copy of the Spike.

Looks like DrChek already made a sketchup of The Spike downloadable here.

Woodshop Flunky also made one of the Vigolix and attached it to this thread.
