I put that as a tongue in cheek remark because I know that a lot of Americans are not as stupid as the rest of the world gives them credit for. --- End quote --- ProTip: if you want people to understand that you have your tongue in your cheek, especially after you went all ahigh, use a smiley -- we have a nice assortment to choose from. --- Quote from: DickTurpin on July 12, 2013, 05:22:07 pm ---Am I right in thinking that Canada has the biggest land border in the world? --- End quote --- I'd be surprised if we made the top 10 ( the fact we aren't #1 is pretty obvious since we only border the US and then they have that whole thing with Mexico). EDIT: What the shamanistic simian said. |
| Howard_Casto: The US/Canada border is the longest between two countries, in terms of the biggest land border period, that's debatable....The problem is it's usually some weird ex-communist republic and they change their borders at the drop of the hat. Atm it's probably Kazakhstan..... NIIIIIICE! But ignoring the weird countries like that it's usually mother Russia... who used to claim most of these new republics. But it's extremely debatable... some countries have a border that's technically very long, but it's long because it goes all squiggly. |

| Howard_Casto: West Virginia - Washington D.C. Because dummies don't understand that we are a separate state AND that D.C. is an independent district and NOT the capital of Virginia anyway.... :banghead: :banghead: |
