| Intellingent Qube (AKA "I.Q.") for PSX dedicated machine ideas. Help! |

| JeebsFat:
I have an idea for a bartop dedicated box for the Playstation game, Intelligent Qube. I am not sure however the best way to run this. One goal I have is to be able to turn on the system easily and quickly with minimal boot up time and bulkiness, straight into the game. Could I do this with a Raspberry Pi? I have only built two machines, both with an old PC, Windows XP, Mala and Mame, and I know very little about Raspberry Pi. I'm not sure if I want to use an old PC though, because that's a lot of windows bulk just to run one game. I guess I could just use a Playstation... but then I would need a copy of the game!!! :o :laugh2: I'm in the early design phase on this one, so any thoughts are very welcome. I am also working on a dedicated bartop Tapper and bartop Satan's Hollow. Both Pi-Powered. Thanks for all the help before and future thanks for any future help!!! :notworthy: |

I had an idea where you used a mirror display via an Android tablet (one of those cheap and nasty 7" you see on ebay) or a eeepc 4g, so the image suspends in the air in a cube shape, lit from all sides. Small enough to be portable, but practical. How do you reverse the image on a tablet.......? |

Can rpi run psx games? I don't think so. Maybe look into ouya and shell it, or just go get a pc off craigs and do it the easy/cheaper way. I love that game by the way. Used to be pretty good at it, now I probably would eat it on the first board. |
