Thats a Gauntlet Dark Legacy cab, none of the MKs had a big MIDWAY logo at the top, and the purple control panel is sort of a dead give-away. Sadly , Im not sure exactly what your cab is, Ive seen it in a TON of conversions. Everything from Street Fighter Alpha to Area 51. It *might* be a generic Dynamo, but I cant say for sure.

Thanks for the reply.  I think it looks like a more modern version of a Dynamo HS-10 from this site: http://www.drzero.org/videogames/dynamo/, but with a more modern look, i.e different speaker grilles and a different monitor bezel instead of the plexi one shown there, unless the current bezel is covered by plexi that I can't see in the picture.  This leads me to think it's a wooden/mdf CP, which would be preferable for bondo work.  I don't have really that much experience woodworking, but I have an uncle with phenomenal skills and a fairly large workshop who builds props so if I end up picking it up I may give him a call to ask if he could give me some guidance for redoing/filling the CP and/or restoring the cab's woodwork if it has any issues.

Haha maybe. I might be going down to check it out this weekend, so I'll see how it goes and if I can get it for a decent price, I'll have my first cab.   ;D
Unstupid, actually, your Neo-Geo bartop was one of the machines that really got me interested in arcade cabs, looks really nice.
My plan is to add buttons and possibly swap the sticks.  I'll either add in a MAME pc with a Jamma adapter, or just get a 60-in-1 or one of those neat Blue elf boards.  I think it may be cheaper to go the MAME route as I already have a netbook or a desktop that I could throw in there and the J-PAC is about $100 less than a Blue Elf 2.

I have heard the Blue Elfs are terrible.

Yeah, after doing some research, i think the the most affordable/best solution is to use the pc i already have and buy an arcade vga-3000 and a jpac.  That way I can choose whatever games I want that way and I already know how to configure mame.
