Does anyone know a page on the net that goes into step by step details how to setup mame and arcadeos in dos.  I'm not a programmer nor am I that fluent in dos but I would like to run a mame cabinent without windows.  any suggestions. thanks!

try http://www.mameworld.net/dosmame, this is one of the best site for MAME under DOS questions.  You might also look around mameworld.net itself, lots of good answer to all kinds of MAME question.  And then, of course, check the technical sections of this site, again lots of good information.
