| What is the throw like on a U360? |

Thanks shponglefan. I think I'm gonna have to pass. Too bad, sounds like just what I need except for the throw. Maybe I would find it ok, but it's too expensive to buy one just to try it out. I had a 4 way with a longish throw on a panel once, and I found Pac games and DK difficult to play, and Frogger borderline unplayable. I'll have to decide between having two sticks or a switchable stick I guess. |

I'm finding it really short. Mine is mounted in a 3/4 panel without the long shaft (they're sold out right now) and with a bat top, no restrictor. |

How do you have it mounted? If its undermounted beneath a 3/4" CP, depending on the hole size, the CP itself could be limiting the throw distance... |

Maybe it's because I'm used to more "american style" sticks. It is under 3/4, but the stick doesn't touch the sides of the 1 1/8 hole at all. |

Maybe. I'm just surprised because I've heard people complain about the U360 (sans restrictor) being too long a throw, but never too short. And in my experience at least comparing to the other joysticks I've tested, without a restrictor it's probably got the longest throw of the bunch. |
