Any uk builders worthy of note? I know turnarcades and ultimate arcades. |

Have you tried playing games 2 feet away from a 40" screen? If you must go that big, go with the TV on the wall and a pedestal you can move back as far as needed. I have a 27" LCD in my cab and I wouldn't want it any bigger. You might get away with a 32" if you tilt it back and have a deep control panel. If there is an arcade auction near you, you might be able to get a showcase cab or just the pedestal portion cheap. Browsing on ebay, I came across this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pedestal-Arcade-Cabinet-/280885726579?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4166180d73 It's expensive in my opinion, but it would save you the woodworking. |

Showcase pedestals are near free when they turn up at arcade auctions. I bought one for $20 a while back on a gamble that it might have a good monitor (turned out to be missing the monitor chassis) and I literally couldn't give the thing away. I ended up stripping the few useful parts out of it and burning the rest. |
