Filling gaps

DHTech:

Would you guys recommending filling the area where the MDF butts up, the MDF edge is butted at a slight angle and you get that sort of V grove, is this worth filling? The MDF is tight against each other a you can just about see a thin sliver of light.

Any recommendation would be good, Thanks, Jeremy

Unstupid:

Cut your wood at an angle so that there is no gap.

Le Chuck:

If it doesn't need to come apart again and you don't feel like redoing it just fill it with bondo.

mgb:

if you already put them together and its too late to pull them apart to angle cut, just bondo it.
you can even first round the sharp edge with a sander for a smooth rounded edge.

JDFan:

And if you don't want to buy BONDO just collect some of that sawdust (should be plenty of it  :laugh2: ) from the cutting and mix it in some wood glue and use that to fill in the gap and sand as needed once it dries.
