I would never have initially called SH a "---Bad words, bad words, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when saint censors you?---" had I known she wasn't a he. If it were a guy, he was acting like a huge one. Since it's a woman, it makes perfect sense.  :lol

DaveMMR:
I don't think anyone treated her badly based on the fact she was a woman. She just came in with a huge chip on her shoulder and used her gender as leverage when she was being called out on her caustic responses to genuine comments/constructive criticism.

One of the big reasons I like BYOAC and not KLOV. Whew! Did my project catch flack over there, and I didn't even submit it over there! But I gotta admit, some of it was pretty damn funny.

I was re-visiting the "no front-end front-end" thread and I've decided to take back any defense I gave to her.

Over the years I've learned a bit of restraint and when I can tell that my opinion is either unwanted  or won't be listened to, I just leave the thread never to return.  But I saw Jello snooping around so I took a look.

Man she was really off her gourd after I left wasn't she?  I had just written her off as another "guy" who doesn't know what they are doing but won't listen.  So I just left her to it.  Sometimes if a kid keeps trying to stick their hand in a light socket, the best way to get them to stop is to let them do it.... they won't do it again.

It's a shame because as a feature, it was a good idea and I would have helped to implement it if she were cooperative, but as a stand alone app, it's just a really really really really dumb idea.

It's also apparent by her replies that she actually knew a lot less about mame and programming than she pretended to, but that's ok when you are a newbie I guess.  ;)

Gray_Area:
She was passionate about her idea.
