The Servostik consists of the stick and motor. You will also need one control board per two sticks. The Mag-Stik Plus is a completely different product that you can manually switch between 4- and 8-way operation by lifting and turning the joystick handle. Scott |

Your existing sticks there are happ competitions. Both the servo stick and the mag plus have the same mounting bolt pattern so they should be an easy replacement. The above mentioned sticks are what I would call the American standard mount where a stick like the Sanwa JLF, seimitsu or Zippyy would be a smaller mount. You can also check out the omni2 from GGG. It's based on a Sanwa JLW with a nub you can turn from underneath to change from 8 to 4 way. There is no add on for your existing sticks that would convert them to 4 way That panel is packed pretty dense so I'm not sure how well the servo stick will fit due to the servo on the side. |

AH i feel like an idiot i thought that that was just for the motor and housing for the price its very acceptable then, and i will just go with these joysticks. Has anyone used the j-stick ( i believe thats what they are (Servorstick)) How do they compare to the Happ competitions ? because i love these sticks. Thanks all. ps i plan on building a new control panel the current one is hurting my hand. |
| mgb:
They're gonna feel different than comps. more of a square feel |

hrm, see its been so long since i was in the arcades (15 years ago) and when i used the ones on my arcade at the moment they felt like i remembered. Will it be the same with these? Were these J-sticks common? Forgive my lack of arcade knowledge i just knew what i liked back then and knew the machines. |
