Just Watched 'Indie Game' Doc

<< < (2/3) > >>

spoot:
It was an interesting watch.  However, I wish they would have had one that "failed" as well to see that putting a billion hours into sumthing doesn't always work out.

lordnacho:
Watched this awhile back, so it's vague at this point but I remember recommending it.  May watch it again soon.
I have played most of the games except for Fez which was just released to Steam.  Apparently a lot of people hate the developer though and are saying don't buy it.

mgb:
I hope it's actually about what goes into making the game rather than just about the people because I find a lot of the docs on games are more about the people.
King of Kong, Chasing Ghost and Special when Lit a seem to go more into the lives of the players.
I like the nuts and bolts that go into it and how games came to be.

I can watch docs on the start of vide games and all that, over and over.
I've watched every Play Value and in a few months or so, I'll watch them all again.

lordnacho:
Not sure if this is spoiler, but I'll tag it anyways.

You may be disappointed then....of what I remember it's more about the people and their struggles with indie development and possible failure than the game making process.

Maximus:
I would say good documentaries are only about people, surely that's the whole point of the genre no?
