If you have two cabinets, it wouldn't hurt to have two copies of each game for local multiplayer (one on steam, one on origin for example)

As much as I want a 2nd cabinet, I'm having enough trouble just trying to find time to finish the first one. 

And I've got two pinball machines to fix....   and a MAME cabinet to upgrade...

or ya, and two kids to take care of.

If steam would actually let me play games I buy from them...Never again (actually the last time was an accident from not reading the fine print on the back of the game that you had to mess with the steam BS)

I avoided anything that needed to be activated online for the longest time, but I actually like Steam now and wish I could register my non-steam games with it.  I've never had any problems, even with the games that I copied to my stand-up cab which doesn't have an internet connection.

Games for Windows Live on the other hand has been nothing but headaches and I won't buy games that use it anymore.
