Hey Vigo!
Howard_Casto:
It depends upon the resolution of the source image mostly (this one isn't very high res) but you'd be surprised how cheaply you can get large prints done.
Ironically the only thing that seems to be expensive to print is decals or anything self-adhesive..... you know, anything that would be useful for our hobby. :badmood:
SithMaster:
Couldn't one use 3m spray adhesive to get around having to print onto self adhesive material?
Howard_Casto:
Not really... or at least I've never been able to do it properly.
Every tried to use that stuff on a sheet of paper? It seldom turns out well.

3M makes a number of spray adhesives that have slightly different characteristics and applications. Even their "standard" Super 77 has slightly different formulations depending on where you buy it (California vs everyone else). For instance, I've used the styrofoam spray and glues to repair foam cores before and the bond ends up being stronger than the actual foam yet it's still super easy to carve through. But getting used to how it's applied was kind of a pain.
If the sheet is really vinyl, then 3M's #80 might be more suitable? Package says it can be applied to wood but I don't know if it would work well on a painted wall. ??? Personally, I think it would be far cooler to build something that resembles the frame from the movie and mount it that way. Then the whole adhesive business is moot.

Souldraw is really cheap for self adhesive vinyl & marquees. I just got a set of sideart and a marquee for my Weecade clone printed & shipped for $35. From China. And it arrived in less than 2 weeks from placing the order.
