Awesome... And I do think that this design also have space for a 14" CRT.. Not sure thou.. Have the plans but don't know how to "explode" them in sketch up :(

I'm familiar with that design... There is no way a 14" CRT will fit in there..  BTW I believe that the North Coast Custom arcades are built out of melamine coated particleboard.

FYI here is a NeoGeo that a guy did with a North Coast Custom Kit: http://amoddinghomecompanion.blogspot.com/2010/11/my-fall-project-neo-geo-bartop-arcade.html

Hi!
So a 14" would not fit? Too bad.. Because this bartop of yours is the most awesome designed bartop :(.. Well seems like I will need to do it myself if I should get the design I want and angle on CP etc.

By the way.. Melamine coated particle board.. Weight compared to mdf? Cheaper?

Thanks for the input!!
BobA:
Melamine coated particle board is typically cheaper than melamine coated MDF.  The coated MDF however is not always available at alot of outlets.  The coated MDF when cut is smoother along the edges than the particle board.  This does not matter if your edges are being covered with T molding.

i just realized that the type of mdf i am looking for is really cheap in a woodshop closeby my work.. hmm.. might as well just buy a jigsaw and router and start.. might need the tools in the future as well so the investment might be worth it anyhow. well thanks all so far!
I will think about it over the weekend :)
