Forum specific B/S/T ?
« on: April 12, 2013, 08:49:14 pm »
It's usually bad manners to cross post in two sub-forums, but you guys are more likely to have what I'm looking for.

I need the big heavy metal Daytona or Sega Rally dash bracket that has mounts for the 4-way shifter.
A sega GT one might work, but I'm pretty sure it had the steering wheel shifted to one side a little bit.
Also looking for a Virtual On seat base if anyone has one.

I've finally decided which direction to take with my pile of parts and I'm going to have plenty of leftovers too.
What do you think of having a Buy/Sell/Trade thread in this forum?
Everything would have to be confined to that one thread.

I have the big heavy metal Daytona dash "backing" - but I (cleanly) hacked the shifter mount off.   Then changed my mind as to what I was doing.    I can get you a pic if you want to see it.

Are you in the U.S.?

I was considering hacking it off and just using that part, but I'd probably leave some of the back attached.

I'm in California.  I'll get pics in a minute and post them here.

Lol, the shifter part is the main thing I need.  Thanks for taking the time to post pics though.

lol

Ya, I figured I'd ruined it for your purposes, but posted pics just to be sure.  They're on ebay occasionally, but the sellers usually want waaaaaay too much for them.

I had to bug the seller of mine for 2 months to get him to sell it to me (he didn't want to ship it - I ended up paying $50 shipped including the plastic front)
