Mini Pac or iPac2?

DHTech:

I was all set to use the iPac2, now not so sure I shouldn't go with the mini Pac, what's your opinions?

PL1:

If you provide a little more detail about your build, desired controls and your skill level in crimping/wiring, it will be easier for us to provide informed opinions.

CpCaveman:

I`m using a minipac, have two joysticks and 6 buttons to each, P1 P2 buttons, side pinball type buttons, a credit button and an exit to game menu button and got about 3 spares (can reconfigure the extra credit buttons etc if needed) used a Ps/2 trackball so not needed with the minipac, if that helps, not sure what your plan is as pl1 says more info would be helpful, bit like asking what car to buy when you go to the shops.

DHTech:

The initial CP will be 2 joysticks and 6 Buttons each side, but I may want to add a trackball or spinner at a later date! crimping cables isn't an issue for me :) is there another alternative interface I should also consider?

PL1:

Since you are comfortable with crimping QDs and aren't sure if you will want to add a trackball or spinner later, the IPac is probably a better choice than a Mini-Pac at this time.
