yep exactly, I can't permanently  attach the CP to the barrel for what I want to do so it will be a bit of fiddly woodwork.
I drink and I know things.

Yeah it's getting a bit cramped in there, it's just a regular double garage, time to start completing things rather than starting them

 :dizzy:

Nah, we would need a CoryBee Subforum first, That boy knows how to knock out a project or 2.  Although Griffindodd-Maximus would probably win for the most categories of project entered at any 1 time. I believe currently that  the current project being worked on are Paperboy, Home Powdercoating, Alchemy Pinball, DK Restoration and probably a dozen or so other things.

I am just now seeing this for the first time.  Wow, what a cool idea!  I have been rolling around the idea of doing a cocktail build ... Now I may have to think a little more outside of the box after seeing this.  Can't wait to see the end result.

 I probably should have noticed a bit earlier, but I don't visit project announcements as much as I want to. Pictures from sites like photobucket usually get filtered out at my work. It takes away all the fun.

I can see your photos though, and your projects are looking good.  8)

Hey theshaner where you been?

Not much, just been lurking here and there.  On the gaming front, been working on a few elements of the pinball machine ... that and working on my cloning device.  I have tested it on the kids with positive results...

I will say, I like this barrel idea so much, I am going to totally steal it.  I am not going to put any graphics on it though.  Probably going to try and keep it very wood based for insertion into a man cave.  I'm on the lookout for a good whiskey barrel now.  ;-)

So I guess I call you Max now instead of Griff?

I have to admit, that guitar chair is very cool.  My old man picked me up one in Kerrville TX and the fact that it has independently adjustable foot rests really make it perfect for jamming.

Yes MaximumGriffage, I plan on doing one and placing it in the room.  I took those shots with my phone though because my camera was in the shop for repairs at the time and I really wanted to try out the idea.  I am going to go back, now that I have my good camera back, and redo the shot at a very high rez.  I might have the kids change clothes between the shots as well.

It may be the angle of the shot but the CP looks incongruous with the barrel. I look forward to seeing how you move forward on it.

It's no different from the concept at this point but we will see how it goes this is yet another one of of those seat of the pants projects where I'm in such unknown territory I have no idea what's going to Happen

I think that Le Chuck and Yotsuya are referring to the fact that the concept has the controls inside the perimeter of the barrel, but the build currently appears to have them squarely sticking out the round perimeter by ~5".
