I don't like the power loss thing because the computer will not be shut down properly to use it. Google HTPC turn on with remote to get some ideas. I have a Windows MCE remote and IR to USB adapter that I use to put the HTPC to sleep/standby and wake it up . To turn it on from OFF or Hibernate state, I think you need to have a motherboard with CIR port. Here is some info on CIR http://shop.inteset.com/Products/5-intel-cir-receiver.aspx |
