Anyone able to run the Seattle games?

I cannot get any of the Midway Seattle racing games to boot in mame 148u1. Is this normal? Upon attempting to run the following games:

California Speed
SF Rush
SF Rush The Rock

.....At first I got an error saying I'm missing the c31boot.bin file, so I grabbed it and placed it in the game rom's zipped file. Now all three games just crash mame to desktop. An audit of the games tell me c31boot.bin needs a redump or some ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.

 Cruisin USA is the Midway racer only game that works. Help?

They work fine for me on v148.  I'm running them on v137 on my cab. 
Rush the Rock is labeled as not working in MAME.

Sounds like you have missing our outdated roms/chds. 
These do take both a chd and a rom IIRC.

Yeah, must be outdated roms. I got 'em from cough*REMOVED BY MODERATOR*cough but still no dice

CHD files are in the proper folder and everything. Start 'em up and it just simply crash to desktop....no error, no "cannot find xxxx rom", nada. WTF
