(1/5) > >>

Malenko:
here's the old one, never finished:

I think this *MIGHT* be the first ever WeeTOUCHcade, its definitely the best named weecade style cab IMO
So I basically tossed the old cab, The nemiah 1Ghz was too crummy to run anything worth running, and no controls made it touch only, which kinda sucked.  Fast forward what... 2 and a half years? Haruman starts slinging weecade style kits (He's now selling version 2.0 kits, tell him I sent you http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,130522.0.html ) I got a version 1.0 cab and went to town. This is over the course of about 3 months. Keep in mind my crummy iPhone cant really capture the pink color very well, so Im gonna borrow a real digital camera and take some more pix. Tmolding is the only thing left to put on it.

Here are the pix: (videos at the bottom)

Here are some  "mostly done" pix, mostly showing the guts. Core2Duo and an Nvidia 6800 GT. Power supply had its casing half removed to make it fit. The reason it went from a "street fighter" layout to a jamma 3 button layout is because my fiancee didnt want 6 buttons, shes more of a PuzzleBobble kinda girl, not a Chun Li user, lol

Home printed art, you can see the space in the 2 pieces of paper, heh:

Kinkos printed art, camera doesnt capture the pinkness very well:

Heres pretty much what it looks like now, Blue stick has been replaced by a pink one. Shiney pink ball top will be ordered, and a custom washer is on the way:

Touching Bonnie's Pink Box:

Using the stick with the Pink Box:

Note, videos arent playing on the MaLa FE because I dont have the lastest build and the MaLa website hasnt worked for me in months.

Le Chuck:
Gawd I'd love to get my fingers all over Bonnie's hawt pink box.

jmike:
Great job Malenko.
Where are you getting the custom washer from? Also I like that monitor you got in there.  ;D

Drnick:
Nice Job, are you going with t-molding or just rounded off edges?

That monitor looks the same as the spare touchscreen I have downstairs. Do you know the make/model?  How's it working out for you?  Any streaking or ghosting when playing fast paced games.  I can't figure out at the moment whether to build another bartop and put the touchscreen in, build a full sized cabinet with 21" 4:3 screen or build a wall mounted jukebox.

DaveMMR:
That looks really good. Nice job! You've got yourself a lovely pink box there.
