Short Film Released - "Arcade"
rtkiii:
Some of you saw my post earlier this month about getting high scores to certain games. Well I went a different direction but the idea is still there. Check it out if you get bored.
I would like to announce that "Arcade" has been released this morning as the 2nd film in my series "12 Films in 12 Months." This little ROM/COM was written by John P. Dowgin and stars Kareem Crowley and Rachael Sweet. The actors were a pleasure to work with and they were prepared with their roles. I was able to shoot in an actual arcade(Mega Play in Mishawaka, Indiana) which was fun for the cast and crew. Give it a watch and share it with anyone you might enjoy. As always comments are welcome and subscribe to my YouTube channel if you feel the desire.

Nice,
I especially liked the vintage calculator digital watch, nice attention to detail! :)

Thanks...it was an amazon purchase! :)
Thanks for watching!
DaOld Man:
I like it!
Howard_Casto:
I like it but I think I would remove the 1984 preface.
In 1984:
1. People wore their jeans tighter
2. Modern high tops hadn't been established yet.
3. Arcade machines didn't have dollar bill changers.
4. The cabinet would be relatively new and wouldn't be that beat up.
It's a budget shoot, I get it, so work with what your location gives you. The story works just fine in present day.
I like it, it's just as a person that, even as a child, shook his head in disgust when they had a digital clock in the pilot episode of Quantum Leap, and continuity errors ruin the whole experience for me.
