Bought Mag-Stik Plus and Old mount holes do not line up

Bought my Mag-Stik plus sticks before I had a cabinet because another user on here gave me a good deal.  But now I have my Cab the mounting holes on the control panel are wider than this slim mount plate on the Mag Stik Plus.  Any alternative than drilling new holes in my metal console panel?

Ended up just drilling the holes.  Seems to fit pretty well.
