Curious if you have any pictures of the EVO Mini other than the render.  Also is there any type of monitor mount or did you just keep the stand on the 11 inch monitor and use it?

There is a mount in the kit that works with the EYOYO monitor it is designed for.

Just placed an order for the mini evo.  Would you happen to have any AI or PS type templates for the pieces that I could use for artwork?  Order number is 534 if you need it.

I don't see a post for the Cocktail cabinet kits. I guess I'll post it here.
Sent a PM with message, and emailed site also.

Hey All,

In the process (finally!) of figuring out my first bartop arcade machine.  From reading through the thread I answered a lot of my questions with using the plans on the first page though what I'm not sure on how to setup my tool paths to run.  I understand the part about cutting pockets for the yellow/red in the file but for the outside edges, I assume the bit follows the line directly as opposed to an inside/outside offset.  If that's the case, what size bit should be used?  I don't either eat away to much material with a bigger bit or leave extra by using a smaller bit.  And looking at the file, I guess I would ask the same of the button holes.  Should they be cut following the line directly?  It wouldn't make sense to cut these as pockets but wanted to verify first.

If anyone is interested, using a Shapeoko XXL and Carbide Create.

Thanks!

Got my order for the EVO mini right before Christmas and the kit looks great. Just now having time to start working on it and was curious if you had assembly instructions for it like you do some of the other kits on your site.   Thanks!

Not yet.  A few tips though and it will be super easy:

1) Dry fit everything before gluing to make sure you know where it goes
2) Mount your monitor to the monitor mount board before gluing (the monitor mount gets glued in this kit)
3) Mount your speakers (if any, I just used the monitor speakers for my build of this kit) before gluing.

On this kit, the bottom is detachable, it will will connect to small batons on the bottom of the sides, I usually use industrial velcro to hold the bottom on.

Can you use nails, and screws for added support, instead of just glue.

This is referring to the cocktail cabinet kit.

Not needed, but yes, you could add blocks internally and screw them in.

Good, I'm not a fan of glue.

Do you still have any cocktail kits.

I guess I'll worry about the controls later. Maybe you can send my blank panel,
and I'll drill the holes myself. Also, maybe I can extend the panels to be longer,
so the controls I wanted can fit properly.

A wood glue joint is stronger than nails and screws.

True, but it's not easy to disassemble or take apart later on.

That is absolutely true, but the question didn't mention disassembly.

I've owned 2 original cocktail tables before, and they were a pain in the neck to move,
and to do anything with.

I just gave them away when I finally moved.

even though I'm in a house now, and have plenty of room, if I ever do have to move,
I'd rather be able to take things apart when the time comes.

for those with an Evo XR 2, is there sufficient ability to cool using a few PC case fans mounted along the rear holes of the back panel?

What the (assembled) dimensions of the Evo Mini cabinet?  Guessing it's ~8-9 inches wide based on the monitor width?

Approximately 19.3" Tall, 16.5" Deep, and 13.4" Wide

The control panel adds width. Internal width is 10.5" off the top of my head.

Hi HaRuMaN.
Just wanted to pass on a thanks for sharing your drawings. I was able to cut one out on my cnc after a few modifications.  Mainly because the plan was for 0.5" melamine, whereas at Home Depot here in Canada, it's actually 13mm melamine.  Doesn't sound like much but it causes the pockets to be too small. First time cutting melamine on it too so I learned about how to avoid chip-out. After a few adjustments, I think it turned out pretty well. Attached is a pic of it just dry fit together.

Thanks again.

I'm curious if you sell plans for your builds? I have a project for school coming up and I want to build a bartop cabinet. I need to build it myself but can get away with using dimensions from someone else. I'm interested in the Degenatron or the ultimate widescreen. I'm confused how to take the links in the OP and transfer those into plans to cut the material. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Btw I'm new so forgive me if this question has been asked multiple times.

Thanks, the kit made it easy  :) . I expect I'll be in the market for a widescreen in the near future.
