Vertical will probably be designed and prototyped early June.

I'm helping with the design and hope to have a working prototype prior to then :)

Each kit that is shipping out now includes a pair of these:

This is an alternative (and probably easier) method to attach the monitor mount board to the inside of the cabinet walls.  Also included are 12 screws.

Are pedestals still in your master scheme?  Think you said maybe after the vertical bartop.
I'm flip flopping between that and a bartop or a full slim.  I'd build but I'm in NYC, so can't really be routing outside.

Yes, they are.  Plans for the vertical are almost done, pedestal to follow.

Just out of curiosity, any features you'd like to see in a pedestal?

Stability would be high up...hyper kids.  Other than that not too picky.  Two player/6 buttons each/trackball.  Coin door slot would be very nice.  Maybe an area for hidden admin buttons.

You might want to consider a projector shelf, as well.

Hey, everything's going together nicely on mine. Just waiting for the CPU to come in.

Where did you get the channel for the plexi?

They have all kinds of stuff.  Their L-channel makes a good marquee retainer, too.

2 3" (I'm guessing 3 inch) cold cathodes vertically mounted between the 3 vertical rows of buttons, clear buttons, black plungers.

Is there any way we could get a couple of more pictures explaining the final steps of finishing off the control panel, back panel and monitor mount panel.

I can't figure out how the control panel top will be secured. Same with the back panel. I'm also a little confused about the new metal hardware for the versa panel.

Maybe a little more in depth pics and description would help?

(I have the 2 player widescreen version)

Btw the packing was impeccable!

I'm still trying to figure out how I am going to do my CP to. Maybe instead of gluing in the bottom have both pieces one piece with a hinge at the bottom?

I was looking at hinges at Home Depot that allow a overlay but it seemed like you would need to dig into the sides to much, plus the mounting area look big and may get in the way.

My primary concern is being able to access the underside of the buttons later (where the wiring is) there's not a whole lot of room there. So ideally a way to easily remove or access the CP underside would work great.

HaRuMaN, what's the dimension for the plexi screen and marquee for the wide screen and normal sized kit.  OSH is going out of business near my area and their having a huge liquidation sale.  Planning to get them before they sell out.  Thanks again for the awesome kit.

I use industrial Velcro to attach my control panel top to the batons. You could drill 2 holes on each side and use a joystick nut and bolt as well.
I can try to take pictures tonight.

I think I will try this to, I just bought some Industrial Strength Velcro to mount my Power Supply.
