Alternatives to hinges for attaching a control panel top?

I'm wondering if people here use things besides hinges for attaching their CP's.  I've been experimenting lately with roller catches and am find I prefer it to a hinge, since the entire CP top can be more easily removed.

Anyone else use anything else?

Just used velcro on my bartop build.  Strong enough that it doesn't go anywhere.  If I need it off I just pull and pry.

Neodymium magnets would be cool!

This is a great topic. I am planning on a removable / swappable panel system and was thinking about something like this since it was going to be a small build. What are the pros and cons that you have found so far? Any "gotchas"?
