Noob looking for some help hooking up ledwiz to buttons.

The Long one is the ground the short one with the resistor goes to the screws

The buttons are self contained. I dont know what side the resistor is on.

Well then, :dunno  I would think you need to contact armi0024 and ask him. He runs Paradise shop and should be able to help you.   You might be able to use the pictures from this page to figure out which one is the voltage source.

and so I dont look anymore of a dumb ass I said ground in an earlier post but i meant the voltage source... it was early this morning.

No, you use a different piece of wire.  You are, as a test, jumping ground from the USB shell to the terminal on the LED-Wiz where your LED is connected.  This should cause the LED to light, if you have it connected properly.  If it lights when you do this, your software will also be able to light the button.

This is only a way to test your wiring, and you don't want to connect anything up this way in any solid fashion.

Resistor is connected to the side that connects to 5v/12v when it lights up.
