Thanks everyone! Part of the problem was the buttons with built in LEDs that I am using are 12v. The led wiz driven by the USB is 5v. I wired up a bunch of batteries equaling 12v and the led worked fine. I know I could also get 12v from a power supply but I am using a laptop to run my machine so I will just order 5v LEDs and then everything will be fine. Thanks again |

Bonus: This setup only draws ~81 mA. since I added an extra current limiting resistor. Scott |

After seeing your post I just hooked up 6v batteries and it lit!! When I get home after work I will try my ledwiz again. |

I finally got the leds working! I wasn't able to hook them up to the banks on the led wiz because when i did they wouldnt light up. So for now only solid lights are working. I guess more testing is needed or i need a voltmeter. So far here is the progress: |
