NEO-GEO Arcade Units question

Are you sure they are non-cart? I have the dedicated Samurai Shodown II cabinet and have had the dedicated Irritating maze setup in the past and both are still cart setups.

Only some of the single slot machines are real jamma, but it isn't that hard to modify the machines to true jamma.

--- Quote from: clok on January 17, 2013, 01:32:19 pm ---Its a single cart system. i did some research and there where some dedicated NON cart NEO GEO cabs it appears, but as said here, pretty rare. I bought um both and am picking them up on Friday. Race Driving would not be a first choice.. but as far as racing games go as its a dedicated  .. force feedback steering, 3 pedals, 4 speed..  it should be a good collector one. The Neo -Geo would never have interested me.. but the ability to swap carts is appealing.. and the fact its Jamma makes board swaps a possibility too. I already have a DO ALL MAME machine i built in.. 91-ish.. from Lucids design.. back then it was quite impressive.. now days it would just get laughed at here.. some guys have turned cabs into art.. so the old plain ones built back then seem a bit silly.. and I have a Frank-n-panel too.. wanted to play all my games. In fact it was called Mame-n-stien on the project page here. I used to have several real cabs in the 80's but a house move forced me to sell them and my Pinballs (one of those life long regrets).. now own a house again so i can put cabs in.. thanks for those who responded.. will post a pic or two once all is setup. maybe even of the old cab so you can all point and laugh  :)
