Hey guys just joining the party! Nice work boost! I just picked up a team challenge machine and am new to this but am excited about playing tournaments against you guys online. I installed the patch 0.4 successfully (dos menus said success on all and told me to reboot), however am unable to register. I don't have the connect/register option in the service mode. I believe my machine is an all-access pass as I have all the courses already available, does this matter. I do have a card reader and a VP card. Help is appreciated.

Good evening everyone. I just updated the server and database again. This update will now receive all of your game play and store it on the server. From all of this info i will now be able to create the leaderboards. So it is important that you force your machine to call in often. If not the server wont have your nee data and you wont advance on the board. Also you wont get updated leaderboards. I am going to write the board code tomorrow and hope to release it friday night. So start calling in. Before you play to get the new boards, after you play before turning your machine off to push your new data. Tournaments will be the same way.

Dahupshee, i havent forgotten about you. Just wanted to finish this board stuff and then you get full attention to your login task.

Hemi, Yea if you have all access pass then currently you cannot register or call in. This feature was removed by gvr when they created all access pass as they were turning their servers. I have an action item to restore connectivity to aap but it wont be for a few more weeks. World tour leaderboards, no card login, and tournaments are ahead of the aap task.

Just unlocked a range of EA sports golf balls by getting an eagle on the 11th at Greek Isles course. Am now playing with a blue and white Captain America ball ha ha

Just unlocked this rhino emblem at Troon north. Also noticed lots of clothing items are now unlocked also. May be due to completing every course in world tour.

Awesome job unlocking the items. Of course it will be 12hours till I get home from work and get to try again, I shouldn't read this board when I am at work.

You guys should add a table to the team challenge wikipedia page to track and document the unlockables. Just a suggestion. I can do it for you if you want. Just tell me what you unlocked, what course, what hole, and what you had to do to get it.

Hey boost don't worry too much about the unlockables that's something for a later time that we will sort out. Half the fun is the surprise when finding one. Can't wait for those leaderboards mate. Thx

Hadnt connected in a couple days, today at boot told me my tournament would be disabled. Had to unregister and go through entire process again. Will build a longer ethernet cable tonight.

Why did you unregister? Just force a call in the service menu and everything would be happy again.

I forced calls multiple times, no go. Unregistered and it called instantly. When it showed that I hadnt called in, said I needed to contact gloabal vr to reconnect. Tried to force call and said unavailable. I lost all my unlockables, but didnt have many. So we mu connect once every 72 hrs or risk losing what we earned since last call.

That's happened to me before and boost is right all you need to do is force a call again and all will be ok not sure what you did Jason?? Never unregister as then you will lose all your goodies as you have found out as new registration means new player.

What do you mean by "I forced calls multiple times, no go"? When you force a call it will either fail and give you an error number, or it will say successfully connected to servers. I have plenty of times not called a machine in for a week or so during my testing. I force a call and everything is good. Let me know what you mean.

I used the operators menu, forced call got to 2% and stated unable to connect. Attemped 5-8 times with same results. Used unregister in operators menu and it connected instantly. Used same registration # it reinstalled and started. I will not call in again till I get the message and see if I can replicate it, should be sunday night. I will take photos as I go.

Very weird. That makes 0 sense as the connection to register, unregister, propagate, all use the same mechanism. Can you force a call right now with success? No difference between now and 3 days from now. Interested in what it does.

I just forced a call before I turned it off, no problem. I mean by waiting till Sunday as the game cab said all tournament disabled till reconnected with global vr servers. Just wondering if that caused something to be turned off. I can forward the clock on computer and try again tomorrow see if same results. Finishing kids homework and getting them easy for bed, so me time has come and gone.

Would it help me to install team challenge without all access? Jason is that what you are talking about? If so are there instructions somewhere on how to install the uninstall TC all access and install TC? Thanks.

Go-to global vr website and download the game manuals. Get iso and burn them to disc. Pull your original hdd and create chd that way you have an image of your old drive to reinstall if you ever wish. Install iso according to instructions from manual and install boost patch and you are ready.

This shows the first attempt fail. I am not saying it wasn't user error, but nothing changed when I pressed unregister button.

Hi Jason that's the screen I get but once you force a call to server all is back to normal. Next time it happens and the call fails let boost know the error.

Hemi yes you need to install just team challenge with out all access for now. Use install disks to install on other hard drive and replace all access hard drive with the normal team challange hard drive. Once game is running run patcher again and follow instructions to get online.

Hey boost I had a mate round who had his own card we registered his card for world tour online play then we play a course but he wasn't able to select his custom player only the first player was?? Any thoughts why he couldn't play as himself??

I got the flower tattoo and shirt emblem at the end of the game but not at the time of the hole in...Cant say if it is because of overall play or the shot.

Hey Spitfire, I haven't tested that scenario yet, good catch. I think it might be because the card isn't new so it relies on this "temp registration" scenario. I am not doing anything with that temp reg table yet. Looks like I need to. I have two games so I can test this as I created a card on one and I will try using it on the other. First let me finish leaderboards, dahupshee, then I'll look at this scenario, and then back to tournaments. Thanks again for finding this.

Hey boost another thing you might want to know is the team challenge character card when put in a challenge machine is unable to be recgognised. You have to create a whole new character in the challenge game? Must use different code to read information on the cards between the 2 games?? Or they just wanted you to pay for another card??

So the issue I'm having is trying to use a USB wireless adapter to connect to the server. I can't get wireless zero configuration to start because remote procedure call is missing locator.exe... has anyone had this issue or know of a work around? The adapter driver loads fine and shows on device manager, but will not show access to wireless networks. Any help would be appreciated. Great work on the progress btw!

My usb's were full so this was not an option for me. I tried a wifi to LAN extender but it was a POS. I ended up going w/ a wireless access point that runs wifi through your 110 (e.g. regular outlet). It was $50 but I figure I can use it anywhere in the house that I need to connect via LAN. Let me know if you want the brand/model and I'll check.
