I've just finished wiring up my jamma arcade cocktail cabinet. I've got power the controls are wired up right put my monitor is showing no signal. I've got a 278 in 1 board and the connection is on the board to my monitor (it's a 19" LCD). I've checked my wiring against the instructions i've been given by the shop and as far as i can tell i'm connected correctly. The wires not connected are P - Vid Synch/N - Vid Green/13 - Vid Blue/12 - Vid Red/2 - Ground - I've been told i don't need these connected as it connects via the gameboard. J - Counter 2/R - Service/7 - Key/15 - Test - This i believe is the coin door which i dont have/need/want 1 - Ground/5 - -5V (these are doubled up on the power side but are connected to a little white block connector along with 16 - Coin) 25 - opt/26 - opt/d - opt/e - opt - dont' need them i think. Any help would be much appreciated as my little lad is driving me nuts wanting to play them 'good old games'. |

what dose the mulit board have for video output is it only RGB threw jamma or dose it have vga out like the 60-1 pcb? if so the dip switches change video out mode from RGb to VGA |

I've got the 278 in 1 jamma board, it's got a VGA output on it and 2 little switches which are both down. i've attatched the picture of it. It is really frustrating to get near enough everything done and not to be able to play on it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |

One of those switches probably selects between 15Khz and 31 Khz. You would use the JAMMA harness outputs for the 15KHZ and the VGA connection for your LCD monitor (31Khz). What do the instructions say about those dip switches? |

What are you using for the 19" lcd? Is it a vga type lcd (with the 15pin video connector) or is it an arcade replacement type (15khz) like those available from wells gardner and betson? I know on a board like the 60-in-1, there are dip switches to select cga or vga, what does the manual on the 278-in-1 say? |
