How stable would that be during a rowdy game of Street Fighter?

haha great question! We had this in mind when we built it. Actually we only use it for Street Fighter and we button mash hard!

The base is concrete so it is heavy enough for stability but light enough to slide around the house.

The post is .68 thick 2x2in stainless steel.

The top is 1.4 inch thick wood with a stainless steel top.

All these factors make it very, very sturdy. Sometimes on stream I stand or sit on it. lol

That's pretty awesome.  That would allow me to use my 46" TV as a Mame display... hmmm... **gears turning... burning smell coming out of ears**
