I get what you are saying. I helped a friend build a cab, and he made a clip art-y character bezel. He was so excited, so I just grinned and beared it.

If you're doing a SF layout, I guess it would look fine if the joystick were on one side of Morrison's head and the buttons were on the other, as long as his face were not obscured.
