White/Chrome Arcade Pedestal with Side Shelves

WHITE/CHROME Arcade Pedestal
Hello all,
I have been a lurker for a little while in this forum.  I always wanted to build my own arcade that didn’t cluster the space so much and wanted to keep a nice modern look to match our white theme living room.  I didn’t’ really have the times or skills to do the project completely so I have asked for help.  There were three people that went above and beyond to get my needs met.

*I needed a custom WHITE Arcade Pedestal with CHROME Trim and side shelves to hold my consoles.  The Pedestal must have a plexiglass.  HaRuMaN was the person that would take my request and draw out the dimension of my pedestal and cut the MDF wood.  I didn’t have the tools or time, therefore his service was utilized.  He was very patient to my requests and did not hesitate to make the change when I ask him to.

*I needed a CHROME ball top and dust washer for my SANWA JLF joystick setup.  She has provided me that where no other place would do it.  Even though the communication could have been improved, the end result is a lot more than I asked for.

Marc
http://www.ultimarc.com/ 5-STARS
*I needed a 38 RGH Button setup with a RGH Trackball.  March provided me the items I needed to complete my control panel.  I couldn’t utilize the I-Pac Ultimate since it couldn’t handle 38 buttons, therefore I had to resort to an I-Pac 4 with 2 PACLED64.  When receiving the items, I noticed that a few LEDs didn’t work correctly.  Marc didn’t hesitate to send out replacements (TWICE) free of charge.

Other Equipment:
Sony 70” LED KDL70R550A Wrap in WHITE VINYL
Sony-HT-CT660-46-Inch-Wireless-Subwoofer SoundBar Wrapped in WHITE VINYL.  The speaker grill was painted white as well.
White PS3.
Star Wars XBOX360.

Also, the control panel was damaged during shipping therefore, bondo was used and I had to wrap it in WHITE CARBON Fiber to somewhat match the theme.  It turn out nice.

Thank you all that helped us in our first project.

I think the white CF REALLY brings it all together.  Its a very elegant looking pedestal, you should be proud.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Looks very nice - Is the CP panel attached with glue or is it still moveable ??  Reason I ask is that it is just a tad off center and the right side has exposed wood (As seen in this pic below) from the surround showing so if it can be adjusted you might want to move it just a tad to the right.

Thank you all.

JDFan:  The CP Panel is attached with WOOD pegs.  The CP Panel is centered, it just the picture I took made it look off-centered.   :-)

Nice n clean! Looks great! Too bad they didn't have a chrome IL button option, I'm not big on that style.

I think this is the only build that that chrome button even looks good on. Chromed plastic almost always looks tacky and "made in China". But this looks pretty cool.  That TV looks massive and fairly close, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first build I've seen with a 70" TV.  I hope you can pull the pedestal away from it when you play.

Cool theme, I like it.

Thank you all,

ChanceKJ:  Yeah I don't really like chrome either, since my wife decorated the living room with white and chrome, I figured it this would match without being an eye sore.  The TV is a bit big, therefore the pedestal can be pulled away if needed.  The TV can be used to watch television shows or movies.  I wanted the arcade to match the room, be universal in case we want to watch movies or play xbox360.

There's only one guy I'd ever recommend above Haruman, but I'm just a wee bit biased.  (Just ribbin' ya, Haruman. You're number one in the U.S.!)

;)

Seriously. Your machine looks SICK. Good choice on the white and chrome. Totally unique, and definitely one-of-a-kind! Two thumbs up!
