| Vertically oriented CPU intensive games? |

Hi All I have a bunch of spare parts lying around and am in the process of putting together a computer to run a vertical name cabinet. I currently have a celeron g530 that seems to run everything (that I know of). Anyone know any vertical name games that can challenge this setup? I just want to know if it's worth spending the extra cash to upgrade the CPU. Right now I see no reason to upgrade. Thanks in advance. |

I can only tell you what won't run on my Pentium 4 Twin Eagle II Xevious 3D Brave Blade Guardian Force Radiant Silvergun Raystorm Sheinryu Terra Diver Tenkomori Shooting Twin Bee Yahoo. |

Thanks -- everything runs just fine except for a little audio stuttering in Raystorm. But that one is a 4:3 and I am just going with 3:4 games for this unit. Also, for some reason I don't seem to have Terra Diver in my romset but I believe that one is 4:3 as well. I am putting together a mini-itx build and am thoroughly impressed with the G530 so far -- and its running all of this on integrated graphics to boot! |

Raiden 3 and 4 are vertical I think and are probably pretty cpu intensive, Taito Type X games, wont run in mame, they are programs written for special pc's |

Most of Cave's SH3 games - Death Smiles, Mushihimesama I & II, EspGaluda I & II - require quite a beefy CPU, especially when there's lots of bullets on screen. Not true obviously for their older stuff like Progear, DoDonPachi, SOS Fever, and Esprade. |
