Fixing my mame mala gamelist

CoryBee:
Using MAME32 plus 0.83 and when I select "Available" I get a list of games that all work when I load them. Every list I try making with Romlister and with mala's default gamelister has a ton of games that are not playable. I am having difficulties figuring this out to keep Mala's list mint.

Not much sleep so sorry if that didn't come out right. Thanks.
CoryBee:
No way to transfer the "Available" list from mame32 to a mala gamelist?  :dunno

I usually create a gamelist with malagamelist.exe containing only one or two games.
Then I go into my all games list in mala, highlight another game that I'd like to add, right click with the mouse, and select "add to gamelist"
You have to do one at a time, but I don't make huge lists.

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure there is a way to have romlister only include working games.
You may have to add an arguement for "emulation status=good" at the bottom of romlister.

I like the idea of having a bunch of games I have never played so I can just hit random and play a game I have never heard\seen before. So one at a time would only work for specific lists.

I will try the emulation status=good and see if that works thanks.

what do you mean by "not playable?"

In my mind, "not playable" could mean:
1) the game doesn't even load up.  a (missing/incorrect) rom error
2) the game loads but doesn't see your input, or requires 4 buttons but you have only 2, etc.
3) the emulation is bad and the game can't be played because it crashes or throws junk on the screen, etc.

the solution to each of those is completely different, so we need some details.
