I'm down all week for training, anyone interested in some beers and games during the week?

RMPS is coming back to town in April, who all is planning to go?

The event is in the same tech center location it was held last year, the Sheraton I believe. I'd like to at least on Saturday, maybe for a bit on Sunday as well.

Saturday is a bit of a madhouse. I was thinking about just going on Sunday. It is a shorter day, but it was so much quieter that I played everything I wanted to play multiple times.

I will be going for sure though.

You're leaving Denver and coming straight to ZapCon in Phoenix, right?

Anyone interested in a Dragon's Lair or Gauntlet Legends showcase? Could probably arrange delivery along I-25 anywhere between Cheyenne and Denver...

I'd love a Dragon's Lair but my wife would kill me.  That being said, prices?

Sunday was definitely nice and quiet last year, although that damn OZ pin always had a line!

Hello fellow Colorado arcade enthusiasts and vidiots alike!
I used to live in Boulder and Longmont (still have property there) and since 2008, I now head up the SW region, in Pagosa Springs. I've been into emulation since about 2005 when I first modded my original Xbox.

A little over a year ago, I started my first cabinet build. I wouldn't really call it finished - are they ever fully finished?! I'm still always tweaking things just like most around here. And, yes, it's completely addictive. I've already begun plans for a vertical screen classic system, and horizontal screen classic system. That's assuming my wife doesn't leave me first.

Anyway, I'm kinda hummed I don't live in the Denver area anymore, at least for the arcade aspect. Hooking up with some fellow gamers would be amazing. Down here, the rancher cowboy folks don't really understand this addiction.
So, in short it's good to see there are others like me somewhat close by. I go to Denver on occasion and would love to meet up over beers and classic coin ops.
I'll keep an eye on this thread and, great to meet you all!!

Markus
PS...I know it's late in the season this year but if anyone wants to come down to Wolf Creek for some skiing/snowboarding, you have a friend - my house is 18 miles from the "most snow in Colorado."  :D

Be sure to let me know if there's another 'meet up' in Denver - I would try hard to be there.  I still own a home in Longmont so it would be good to check in on it and have some beers with some of you guys!

So this Sunday at RMPS, Sharpfork and I are planning to meet up with other KLOV'ers, BYOAC, and Shmup'ers for lunch. If you are going to RMPS, let us know and we'll figure out a time and place at RMPS to meet up!

I made it up to Estes last weekend for a quick business trip.  No time to come down to Denver or Boulder, just drove through.

Though, I did drive by the Pinball Arcade in Lyons (wasn't open, too early :hissy:)   http://www.lyonspinball.com/

Have any of you guys been up to Lyons to check it out??

I've had a ton of fun at Shmup and KLOV meetups at folks houses.  Maybe it is time to think about something like that for folks here.
