MAME Mario Bros

;D So I finally get to talk about my cade. I am far enough in the progress of it to bring it up.
I had a pretty beat up DK and had to fix the crap out of it with bondo and such. Replaced a bunch of crap on it.
Repainted it the original Mario Bros colors. (Black front, Orange Sides)
And ordered art from by Rick Uhlenhopp
Here is a video to his YouTube Channel and one of his videos.

He does an AMAZING job! And I recommend him thoroughly!

I am getting the CP done by Nephasth on here.
As you all know, he's the master!
LOVE HIS DOUBLE HEADED BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is currently what it looks like.

This Mame will be heavily focused on playing console games, it will have all the old school controllers in the coin box.
It will hopefully when done, even play Wii games! And everything underneath that technology.

Sort of regretting making the sides orange, I am thinking having the sides black would make it blend better. What do you guys think?

looks great!!! I would have gone more original though... I'd be too worried about people kicking the art on the kick plate.  Also the kick plate area you have a red crab on red bricks...  kinda blends in... I'd have put a green turtle in front of the red bricks to make it stand out more.  You need more turtles!  Turtles rule!

Should I make the T-molding white and/or make the sides black?

You guys think black would be better, or the orange?

You said you spent $100 just to get the orange right. If you're willing to piss that away on a whim, then... I dunno. I think it looks fine the way it is.  :dunno
