Trakball and Spinner settings in MAME
« on: June 20, 2002, 11:20:21 am »
Does anyone know of a site which has recommended trakball and spinner sensitivity settings for games under MAME?

I've been experimenting with an original Atari Millipede trakball, a Tempest spinner, a Wingman Warrior spinner and now a Sega trakball.  The settings to be good and responsive AND avoid spinback vary quite a lot between the different types.

If there isn't a site with this kind of info on it, then I'd be keen to set one up with my findings.  I have quite a bit of experience playing the original games so I have a good idea when the settings are about right.  For the record, I'm using the latest CTMOUSE driver under DOS, AdvanceMAME and an Opti-Pac interface.

Cheers
Ian
