Is Mame hanging? - Basic question...
« on: May 08, 2002, 05:25:01 pm »
I'm running Mame32 on XP.
AMD Thunderbird 1 gig
512 megs of RAM

Why is it when I select some games, the mame menu screen disappears and the game does load up... it appears that the system hangs.  And the only way I can end the process is be "Ctrl-Alt-Del" to end the task.

Any reason why?

Thanks
-GGKoul

I had a similar problem with McAfee VirusScan running on Win'98, just a hunch.

If I remember right disabling it wouldn't fix it, but do Start-Run-msconfig and disabling it from loading and rebooting would.

Worth a try if you're using this
