yeah no I figured as much.
but when you get to the sideart some vinyls are not very opaque a Black background may not always be the best choice.
same goes for the cp would recommend white
just some foodfight for thought....

Yeah I hear ya. I get my printing done with Game on Graphix their vinyl is very nice quality and the colors are vibrant. Revolution was done with this same laminate under their printed vinyl

Not going to get much done this weekend I dont think, the wife is running a 36hr 210 mile ultra relay called the Ragnar, so I'm at home playing single parent. But I grabbed an hour while my little one was taking a nap.
Been wondering how I was going to manage to pull off an accurate job of the lamination of the column and foot wells of the cabinet as I can't pull it to pieces to flat laminate and flush trim everything. So I've been chewing over this idea for months and decided to just give it a try today.
Made a template the exact width of the footwells
Measured off the length of each of the faces of the footwell
Clamp up the laminate along the template to the length required
Route it off with a flush trim bit
Perfect fit
Even used the same technique to cut the aluminum diamond plate sheet, which is very thin.
Looking good.
Well it worked and I'm super happy with the result, that has been rolling around in my head forever, I'll use the same technique to do all of the rest of the panels front and back that I can't remove from the cab itself.

Grabbed another spare hour...
