Yeah understood, I stripped everything down the best I could to try and keep the costs down a bit, but like you say there's only so much you can do.

Maybe you could barter some work with the dude? Are you a member of any barter communities? Maybe he needs a website, or a banner printed. You seem to be adequate around design software. :laugh2:

Also, you may want to find out if some other plating could work. Perhaps nickel or that new chrome painting some auto places do.

Yeah unfortunately the thing I have the least of is time, if only there were 48 hours in a day and I only needed 2 hours sleep

He said Nickel was basically the same price but not as durable. I could use cheaper alternatives, but to be honest, this is my grail, the most favorite of all of my games growing up and I want this to be one of the best in the world, so I'm going to have to suck it up. All said and done the total for the whole cab is probably not going to bust $1,000 so I can't complain given the money I've dumped into things like Revolution and the new VPin
