Or other CLASSIC ARCADE TYPE games? :) --- End quote --- Heh, I was gonna say, that thread is a good place to start. A lot of it depends on what you define as "CLASSIC ARCADE TYPE" games, but if you define it as short bursts of compelling gameplay, I would suggest: Super Crate Box Luftrauser Super Meat Boy They Came From Verminest Chompy Chomp Chomp (XBLIG- actually kind of like Pac Man Battle Royale) radiangames Crossfire 2 Super Hexagon VVVVVV (actually a homage to C64 games, but still action-y) Probability 0 And, if you happen to be a fan of Robotron or Smash TV, one out of every three indie games is a twin stick shooter. |

MAME won't play any of them, but many could be launched through a front end, and might play on cab controls depending on how they were designed and how much work you want to put into it. I am trying to homebrew a couple "ripped from history" type coin op games (that will still just be windows .exe files in the end, no PCB or anything), but at the rate I am going it will be several years before I am done! ;D |

The game they put in the cabinet is different than the flash game. I found the flash game waaaay to easy. If the arcade version ever leaks, it seems to be an .exe kind of thing. I happened to catch the boot at 1 up in Denver yesterday. |
