| Ring King, or not? |

I just scored this beauty (not including the nets though ;D ) for 70 euros (a bit under 90$), but I can't seem to find that same marquee graphic for Ring King. That makes me wonder, if this is some repro/bootleg or something of sorts. Anyone got an idea? Only found the original Ring King from klov and from around the net. But hell, for that money it's worth picking up just for the cab and electronics. I'm not sure yet if the monitor works "out of the box" or needs some lovin'. |

My guess would be that it is an Italy made repro/bootleg. Zaccaria is one vendor that was “famous” for doing that… |

European cabinets (bootleg or not) often just didn't have the same artwork as the American ones you see on the internet all the time. |
| Gray_Area:
None of that art was on the American version. http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9319 You apparently don't have the [original] Japanese version, either. http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8312 |

Yeah, I'm going to pick it up today and then the mystery might open up a bit :). I don't mind really, the cabinet itself looks perfect for making a repro of some other cab, considering it's not an original to preserve. |
