Hyperspin Crash
« on: October 08, 2012, 01:12:18 pm »
I know that there is a known issue with Hyperspin when there are too many resolutions and that there is a workaround to use magic resolutions but I was wondering if the root cause of the bug is known.  Is it a bug in Hyperspin ?  If so has it been reported to the Hyperspin devs ?  If it's not a bug in Hyperspin does anyone know what library the bug is ?

Hi Hexray,

It IS a bug in Hyperspin and was reported to the devs long ago. Search this forum and Hyperspin's and will find some information. It looks like some array is being overflown, probably when calling EnumDisplaySettings by one third party library.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
