Question about GGG button and iPac

Some games like TMNT used one of the player buttons to start instead of having a separate start button.  Check the "Input (this Game)" menu to verify on your game or just open a notepad window and see if it 'types' a "1" when you hit P1 Start.

Where is the option to disable or change the shift key?
PL1:
Just clear the shifted function slots or program each of them the same as the unshifted function.
