| Question about GGG button and iPac |

| BrianP:
After about 2 years, I have finally gotten back to working on my cabinet. I had previously wired the control board using buttons from Groovy Game Gear and an Ultimarc I-Pac2. Anyway, I installed the Ultmarc WinIPAC Interactive Panel Designer to test the wiring on all the buttons (it had been a while). Everything looked good except one button. The player 1 start is activating on a button release, not a button press. The player 2 start is working fine. Totally puzzled on this. Did I wire something wrong? Or do I have a bad switch? The switch itself says (best I can tell, white on white is hard to read) E-Switch LS 15A 125/250 AC Thanks in advance! |

No, it's fine. That button also serves as a shift button when you hold it down, so it's waiting to see what you do with it before it registers the button push. No stress. |

Hmmmm, I tried a game in MameUI and it didn't register, I guess I will have to look at my mame settings. Thanks. |
| molton:
Use the winIpac application to disable the shift function if you never use it and it will act normally if you want |

Are you wired on the wrong terminals on the switch so it is actually closed all the time and you're breaking the connection when you press the button? Just a thought... Smack |
