Author Topic: HELP!!! BUTTONS AND JOYSTICK IN MAXIMUS NOT WORKING. (Read 4610 times)

Hey everyone,
I am new to this addiction but I am having an issue with my first cabinet. My front end is Maximus and I have a 2 player 6 button per side set-up with an Ipac2. When I fire-up MA everything loads properly but it doesn't respond to any of the buttons and the joystick only works in the menu. I have downloaded the driver for the Ipac and loaded it and I can't program the controllers on that neither. it gives me the error message "Failed to program device, try reinstall with board connected and or reboot".

Does MAME work outside of Maximus? Check out your MAME.ini file. Make sure Joystick=1

Also check to make sure your joysticks are registering properly in the control panel in windows first.
