Its just an expensive overly complicated dowel  ;D but a great little idea all the same.

Neat idea.  It's like a magnetized version of what they use in flat-pack desks and such.  I really like the part where the drill says, "Rrrr" and the dowel thingy says, "click click."

That's pretty badass, I wonder how tight it can get that bolt though.  It would also require absolute precision when installing either side, else it would bind.  Still cool though.

For the year 2050 lets put a tuned-coil, a miniature servo, and a wood screw inside the longer piece and eliminate the smaller 2nd piece.  :D
