You state a good point that Ii was contemplating myself at the start of this project, however, I only spent a couple hours working on it. After a mental debate, I realized that I find nothing wrong with knowledge sharing and reuse if the product looks good and works.
To put things in perspective, it is just the frame design that I am reusing as a basis. There are many different characteristics that make up a cab. BYOAC has nothing in its name about design, but building (although it is implied to a certain extent).
Besides, this cab is for my wife. She was the one who preferred the weecade design.
Even with what I mentioned above, I still have to make some modifications to fit a vertical monitor. What I am trying to indirectly say is thanks, your post helped remind me that you can make a cab vintage and original. I'll likely start off with the weecade as a base, and make changes from there. Who knows maybe the end result won't even look like a weecade.
